Lilim Creative Healing Studio was started by four travelers from different corners of the Americas, who met and merged paths, in a little village known as Mazunte, on the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico.

Maho from Quebec

Marly from Colombia

Florencia from Argentina

and Gabrielle from North Carolina

All of us came together as artists and healers with a desire to create something in the magical place that we found ourselves in. Mazunte was a hub, for international travelers, vibrant local Mexican culture, art, music, and spiritual seekers. The ever - changing tides of the ocean kept us riding intense highs and deep lows. With our desire to manifest a physical space for our various practices - being tattooing, painting, and massage + hypnosis, we all joined forces as one, and thus, Liliam Creative Healing Studio was birthed into existence. Our artist collective was a short, pop-up style experience. We all worked out of a space for about 2 and a half months during the winter of 2021. At the end of our journey together, we sealed the experience with a Group Art Exhibition, featuring a variety of creative women, all whom were local and international artists.

So why the name Lilim?

Lilim represents the children of the Goddess Lilith. There is a dark and patriarchal tale that Lilith is evil, dirty, and unholy. But in reality, Lilith was the original Eve. She was banned from the Garden of Eden by Adam for refusing to submit to him. She fled the garden to regain her independence and was cast out as a demonic woman. We saw ourselves as the children of Lilith - the Lilims. The daughters of the witches that could not be burned.
